Wallet for long term hodling

I know there are a lot of wallet questions already, but hopefully this is a new angle on the question.

I've purchased some BTC on Strike and will be purchasing weekly from now on at this point. I need to create/get a cold wallet, but will only be transferring into it for the next 15-25 years, never taking out. The way I see it, I just need a public address to transfer to it for the most part. I need to generate this using a wallet, but really don't care about any other features of the wallet. I ultimately just want to store my seed phrase in my safe (and who knows, hide a backup somewhere else, I'll worry about that later), in case some day I need to import that/recover into a usable wallet to access it.

I hope that isn't oversimplifying it, but I don't need any other features of the wallet that I know of. As long as I keep my seed phrase safe, I'm not sure what else I need to worry about. Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm way more worried about fire or dying early and my family having no idea how to access anything than I am of being robbed or hacked), but would simply using a fresh Linux machine and one of the better known wallet softwares to generate keys and seed phrase, then either wiping the device or storing it in the safe as well, be logical?

Am I missing something?
