Firefox phantom wallet extension made me lose $16k USD

I sadly had no idea that firefox extensions aren't reviewed and that they allow anything to be posted. I downloaded phantom wallet extension on firefox mobile and didnt think anything wrong about it since it was the only one listed. I have been using phantom extension on pc for awhile without issues so figured the mobile version was fine but NOPE it ended up being a scam extension.. Lost around 16k usd of coins. I wont ever use browser extensions for wallets ever again. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I now am using tangem wallet just as added security this time around.

edit: the reason I went for the browser extension instead of the app is because my android phone is degoogled and phantom app wont run without google play services.
