An (odd?) request by Binance?

I cancelled about three back-to-back P2P trades as a result of the customer used third-party financial institution accounts. Shortly after that, my account was briefly disabled throughout a trade, and buyer help had to step in to launch the BTC to the one that had paid me.

Once I contacted them, they asked me to learn out some pre-written statements saying that what I'm doing isn’t unlawful and so forth. The whole dialog felt so unusual that I truly double-checked whether I used to be on the official website. Is this normal, and will I'm going via with it? I’m not doing anything unlawful, however the concept of somebody having a recording of me making these statements simply feels off (although they stated it wouldn’t be recorded, however nonetheless).

I don’t actually care about Binance particularly, and by chance I don’t have any funds stored there. I simply need to promote $500–$1000 value of BTC a yr and don’t know a better approach to do it – Binance has been nice and convenient so far.
